is a ring
for those of you who have your genealogy on the web.
You may put your ring fragment on any page you like just remember to
provide a link to your main genealogy page, so everyone can visit when they surf the ring.
Here are a few simple rules
01. Your site must pertain to Genealogy or have a Genealogy Section to link to.
02. All sites must be suitable for viewing by children which means
no profanity or adult content.
03. No membership sites will be admitted. Your site must be freely accessible
to the Internet community.
04. You will have FOURTEEN DAYS to insert the appropriate HTML code and
graphic into your page after submitting
the application and before being
admitted to the Web Ring. Failure to
do so will result in your site being
deleted from the Queue.
Now if you can follow the above rules just follow these few steps to join.
01. To join the ring just fill out the form below.
02. You will get the code for the html fragment in your email.
03. Copy and Paste the HTML code on your page.
04. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING in the code.
05. You MUST save the graphic on
Your server.
Please do not link to these graphics directly.
Doing so is bandwidth stealing
and it can become very costly.
You MUST place the ring code fragment ON THE
PAGE you put on the form. The fragment must be displayed on that page or
the system will automatically remove you from the ring.
DO NOT change anything on the
HTML FRAGMENT. The system will automatically
generate your HTML fragment with your ID number, email address, and your site
name in the code. PASTE the code on your page EXACTLY as the system
sends it to you.
